Excellent aircraft, excellent information. What a great little museum to visit. Love any aeronautical history and this place is chocked full of it. The folk at the front desk were so friendly and I loved the conversations with them.
The planes were awesome to see. A bit warm in the hangar, but we’ll worth it!
I’ll be back to visit again.
Great museum with several airplanes, vehicles and engines to look at! There are a lot of great historical exhibits to see and a piece of the USS Arizona! Highly recommend!
If your into planes and the history behind them this is the place to check out. Very detailed displays. I loved the cutout engines they had.
This place was so cool! If you are into planes, helicopters and military exhibits you definitely need to carve out time to stop here. All of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the exhibits and displays.
A fantastic museum. The displays tell the history of aviation. They also have models in the displays. A lot of historical information is given. Great displays. The hanger has some great aircraft. We enjoyed the movie aircraft. They also have some engines. We spent hours checking everything out. Very friendly staff.
Great experience. I loved seeing all of the old planes and cars. Was a great educational stop as we spoke to a few ladies and got our questions answered. Gift shop is awesome.
Two adults visited this on a Thursday in late September 2023 and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We spent about 4 hours going through the museum including the planes and other vehicles in the hanger and talking with several of the volunteers. YMMV as we are museum nerds and love to spend time reading the thoughtful displays. The museum covers aviation history from the beginnings through about Desert Storm with an emphasis on WW2. Several of the planes in the hanger are still flight capable. A special exhibit on Military Chaplains was very well done. A really nice find in this very touristy area. One small observation is that (for us older folks) some of the descriptions were not well lit and had too small type font to be read easily.
We arrived about 3 hours from closing and spent almost the entire time until then there. Our son is super into planes and he absolutely loved this. We are definitely going to be there again for some live demonstrations. Heard there may be some cool stuff in September 2021. A definite kid-friendly and super interesting place to visit. Loved it!
